Thirty-two years after his now legendary presentation at the "Peroke" Theater (1991-92), George Valaris directs and revives at the historic Acropol Theater since February 2023, the musical performance "The Sixth Floor" with a team of great artists. Focusing on the comedy that characterizes Anna Panayotopoulou's successful adaptation of the popular play by Alfred Zeri - which has been translated and performed with great success almost all over the world from 1938 until today - Stamatis Kraounakis and Lina Nikolakopoulou created perhaps the most famous and beloved songs ever heard in recent decades in a theatrical performance, ("What time is it, what day is it and what year", "The song of gossip", "The song of jealousy", "The handrail" etc.).

The premise of the work is timeless and particularly relevant today. In the 30s, the occupants of an apartment building in Paris, live hit by the crisis of the time. The everyday life of the occupants of the sixth floor unfolds through the loves, the conflicts, the endless fights, the constant incidents, but also the dreams that everyone makes for his life.Dreams big and small, dreams that give every person the strength to endure the difficulties of everyday life. Only, in the course of the play, the heroes will realize that above and beyond dreams - which unfortunately so rarely come true - there is love, companionship, solidarity, the feeling that we remain united in the face of every difficulty. And only through this feeling can we emerge true winners in the game of life.
